We would like to welcome Martyna Urbanowicz and Dawid Grabarek, who have recently joined the QSAR Lab Team.
Martyna Urbanowicz is the head of the management office and R&D specialist.
For 14 years, she has been related to administrative services for offices, and for 5 years associated with scientific and research units. She completed a number of substantive courses, including: AGILE PM, PMI project management, conflict management, team building and management. ”
In the company, she deals with the formal and financial service of project implementation as well as coordination and administrative service of the office.
Dawid Grabarek joined our team as a R&D specialist. He’s specialized in Quantum chemistry calculations, particularly QM / MM methodology in application to biosystems.
A graduate from Faculty of Chemistry at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. He holds a degree in biotechnology with bioinformatics specialization. In his research work, he uses advanced quantum chemistry methods for calculations of light absorption and emission properties in retinylidene and fluorescent proteins chromophores. In particular, in his PhD thesis, he described impact of the chromophore’s protein environment in fluorescent proteins on their one- and two-photon absorption spectra. Moreover, Dawid is familiar with conducting molecular dynamics simulations and analysis results.
At QSAR Lab. he is involved in projects ab initio calculations of the requiring electronic and spectroscopic properties of the molecular systems under investigation.
